Rajnath Singh in Ghoshna Patra

Speaking during the exclusive program telecasted by ABP news Ghoshna Patra, BJP President Rajnath Singh put forwarded the goals BJP will be fulfilling after the party comes to power.

“It is seen that from the day the process of election has started in independent India, the political parties have penned down number of promises in their manifestos, those promises if fulfilled no one could have stopped India to become the Super Power” said Rajnath Singh. There is a rise in the crisis of credibility now for the government. BJP has come up with 2 committees: Vision Document Committee under Nitin Gadkari and Election Manifesto Committee under the chairmanship of Dr. Murlimanohar Joshi.

On BJP and Mission272+

Back in 2009, the situation of BJP was not upto the mark. There is a huge difference between the status of BJP now and then. The public today want a stable government and they believe that Narendra Modi is the best candidate for Primes Minister. They want to get rid of Congress that has given nothing but bad governance. If some one compares between the BJP led NDA government and the 9 years of Congress led UPA government than it is quite clear that only BJP can provide the public with a good governance.

On BJP and Uttar Pradesh

The BJP won once by 58 seats in UP which is a record. The political scenario now in Uttar Pradesh will definitely allow BJP to gain more than 40-45 seats.

On Good Governance

During the regime of Atalji the economy was very strong it gained momentum and President of America Barack Obama seeing the economic momentum said that India is not emerging but India has emerged.

On Narendra Modi as Prime Minister

There is no record of riots in Gujarat since 2002. And not only India people but people from all over the world considers Gujarat as a role model of Development.

On Muslims and BJP

There are only 2 political parties that considers themselves as secular parties and they are the Congress and Samajwadi Party. The communal clashes were provoked mainly by the Congress and Samajwadi Party in Utttar Pradesh. Congress has adopted the Divide and Rule policy from British to rule independent India. On the other hand BJP never discriminates people with caste and religion it does politics keeping in mind justice and humanity. There is a perception that BJP is against the muslim community. But this time even muslim politicians will get the election tickets.

On Economy, Inflation and BJP

The economic model for India now is not suitable for the nation. We will think of an Alternative Economic Model. Foreign Economic model in this country will not be tolerated. The Vision Document of BJP will put forth the necessary steps required to follow to improve the economy. We are discussing on various issues like taxation policies, the excise duties and the personal income tax. Is there any need to have personal income tax in the government? Can we incur revenue by exempting this personal tax? Alternatives for all these are being discussed by the members of the party.

On talks with Pakistan

Mr. Rajnath Singh said that PM himself had said that till the time Pakistan doesn’t handover terrorists behind the 26th May 2011 attack there will be no dialogue with the nation. Why does the PM not exercise diplomatic pressure to ask Pakistan to stop the terrorist camps in the country and stop Pakistan sponsored terrorism?

On foreign policy

Mr. Singh said that Mr. Vajpayee’s diplomatic success was visible when during his visit to China the Chinese government said that Sikkim is not part of China but it is part of India. As BJP President he assured that the party’s government would want great relations with all the other nations of the world but at no time will it allow any nation to pressurize the country.

Terrorists were handed over in exchange of innocent lives of people on board the flight that was high jacked to Kandahar. At that time Congress people were also agitating at the PM’s house seeking safe release of the Indians. It was a strategic move to save lives and not buckling under the pressure.

We seek power devolution for the Tamilians settled in Sri Lanka as per the Sri Lankan government’s constitutional amendment.

On women safety

BJP is committed to providing safe environment to women. It is high on agenda for the BJP said Mr. Singh.

On CM candidate for Delhi

It is part of the strategy of BJP not to declare the CM candidate for Delhi. Only central parliamentary committee of the party is authorized to declare the name said Mr. Singh.

On Ayodhya

Mr. Singh said that they need to wait for the decision of the court to take a call on it. Also Ayodhya will not be part of the election manifesto of the party as political party does not build temple. BJP is ready to protect temple, mosques and churches of India as they are symbols of faith.
