Mission272+ Volunteers share Concerns with Narendra Modi on Open Forum for NE

On the 22nd February Narendra Modi will be visiting three North-Eastern states of India: Assam, Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh.

 

Volunteers of Mission272+ responded to Mr. Modi’s call and shared their ideas and issues concerning the North East on the India272+ Open Forum.

Inputs from Volunteers broadly fell into the following topics:

  1. Migration from Bangladesh
  2. A separate High Court Bench
  3. Poaching of one horn Rhino
  4. Rural housing
  5. Infrastructure planning

Here is a glimpse of what the Volunteers had to say:

Illegal Migration from Bangladesh to be addressed.
 

Necessity of a separate High Court Bench at Barak Valley. Barak Valley mainly comprises of the three Districts viz. Cachar, Karimganj & Hailakandi and it is situated in the Southern part of Assam bordering Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura State and Dima Hasao District of Assam and International Border with Bangladesh. The main city of the valley is Silchar.
 

Killing of one horn rhino- the pride of Assam enters alarming zone. Poaching going on. Government takes no step.
Rural housing and infrastructure planning.
 

Please explain how BJP is going to generate job opportunity for youth in rural areas.
 

Issue of east west corridor and infiltration.
 

Respected Modiji, In Silchar, Barak Valley of Assam the people are suffering from big problem of lack of good transport and communication facilities.
 

Good English language skills also can find employment in call centers and the government can create the environment by improving connectivity and adding courses in its ITIs for this trade.
 

A growth in tourism will be followed by growth in the hospitality sector.
 

Given the huge reservoirs of oil and gas hydrocarbons, there is an opportunity to train the local population in trades relating to exploration and production of oil and gas.

India272+ team requests the volunteers to join the respective parliamentary constituency specific groups to voice in their concerns related to their constituency and also get a chance to meet Important BJP Leaders in the near future.
