The dates for the world’s biggest elections have been announced and the results of this election will be out on May 16th. Polling will be held in nine phases.

April 7 – Assam and Tripura

April 9 – Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Nagaland

April 10 – Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Bihar, Chandigarh, Chhatisgarh, Haryana, J&K, Jharkhand, Kerala, Lakshadweep, MP, Maharashtra, Delhi, Orissa and UP

April 12 – Assam, Sikkim and Tripura

April 17 – Bihar, Chhatisgarh, Goa, J&K, Jharkhand, Karnataka, MP, Maharashtra, Manipur, Orissa, Rajasthan, UP and WB

April 24 – Assam, Bihar, Chhatisgarh, J&K, Jharkhand, MP, Maharashtra, Puducherry, Rajasthan, TN, UP and WB

April 30 – AP, Bihar, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Gujarat, J&K, Punjab, UP and WB

May 7 – AP, Bihar, HP, J&K, UP, Uttarakhand and WB

May 12 – Bihar, UP and WB
