Addressing the media after a win that made a mockery out of the Congress party in the state of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan thanked the party workers and credited them for the success. His hat trick is now being termed as ‘doing a Modi’!
He said it was the party workers who go unnamed, manning the booths and carrying out programes, that have helped the party win. Promising to carry on the development efforts in the State, he thanked the people of Madhya Pradesh and said it was a victory of the people too. He thanked the BJP national leaders too in his speech and did not fail to mention that had the UPA Government in Delhi been more co-operative MP would have climbed to greater heights.
