Narendra Modi in Guwahati – Open Forum

While the “Gateway of north Eastern Region” of India, Guwahati, gets ready to welcome Narendra Modi on the 8th of February there is an opportunity for the Misson272+ Volunteers to share their views, opinions and concerns with the popular leader. Please use the open forum created for the same to give voice to your thoughts.

Volunteers can talk about the issues that plague the fast expanding city. The problems could be migration of rural poor or rural students to Guwahati or it could be about the pathetic situation arising in the city with regards to disposal of solid waste. You could also voice the feeling of insecurity that is prevalent in the citizens of the state due to the decades-long insurgency problem.

Volunteers can also throw light on the day by day ugly incidents of crimes and anti-social activities like rape, murder, car-lifting, theft, robbery, drugs and liquor menace etc. which are increasing alarmingly in the state capital. Volunteers from the rural Assam may want to express their views on far from satisfactory results from the hyped NREGA and the fact that the agriculture is dependent on nature and not on irrigation. You can also talk about poor flood control measures or reluctance of banks to give loan to the farmers.

Please note you need to be a Registered Volunteer to be able to provide inputs through the Open Forum that has been specially created for the purpose. If you have not already registered please do so here.
