Welcome Mission272+ Volunteers to the decisive year in Indian Politics – 2014.
With the country gearing up for a regime change in 2014, Narendra Modi is the topic of discussion on the streets.
Ask Wasim Khan, a resident of Ghaziabad who drives autos in Delhi for a living and he will echo what we just said. Asked why he would vote for Narendra Modi in 2014 he confidently replies
“sarkar badlegi to desh badlega.”
According to him Narendra Modi possesses that zeal and has the numbers supporting him to bring about change. He says he wants to vote for the person who willingly spends his life in the service of the nation. Their disillusionment with the Congress Government is quite clear when he says that he and his family members still reminisce about the time when Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the PM and food was basic commodities were sold at affordable prices. It is quite clear that Manmohan Singh’s silence and Sonia Gandhi’s being the de facto leader has not gone down with the common man.
What has also becomes apparent from the video is that the voters queuing up in the election booths in 2014 want change and are not ready to take anything for face value.
Delhi’s ‘aam admi’ may have voted for Arvind Kejriwal in the 2013 Assembly elections but their choice for 2014 General Elections is quite clear- Narendra Modi.
Make Wasim Khan’s wish come true with this New Year Resolution – Volunteer for Mission272+.
